Hello, friends!

Welcome to the Cindy + Sarah Photography blog. We are going to be posting all of our sessions here for you to view and get to know the amazing people we get to photograph.

For our first blog post, we thought we would tell you a little bit about us.

Cindy and I met back in 2013 at my church youth group after her friend invited her. She started coming to my parents home group on Sunday nights where I got to know her better. Cindy and I weren’t close friends right away, but in 2014, my brother JD started dating Cindy. After hearing from JD how great Cindy was (he was quite smitten with her), and of course Cindy being around my family a lot more, we quickly became friends. We’ve been on a lot of church trips, family events, and we’ve even been camp counselors together. All of these events made us pretty close, but when Cindy married JD in 2016, our friendship took new shape–sisters.

Once I moved out of state in 2017, Cindy and I started discussing this dream where we were doing photography together.

In 2019, my husband Zach and I moved back to California, so Cindy and I decided to make our dreams happen–and here we are! There is something special about working alongside Cindy. We both have different visions that we help each other execute, and our work is better together. We believe we can offer something unique and fun to our clients by combining our skills and creative thoughts.
