It was a rainy morning in Bakersfield, California as Cheyenne and Mason got ready for their big day. The clouds were heavy, and we didn’t know if it would rain during the ceremony. To my surprise, the rain stopped just before it started, and as Cheyenne walked down the aisle, the sun came out! The sun really did come out just for us. With the suns’ rays beaming through Cheyenne’s hair, she and Mason committed to each other. It was a beautiful ceremony, with a beautiful sky behind them.
I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Cheyenne over the past few months. Once I met Mason, I could clearly see why Cheyenne loves him. The way she talks about him lights up her face, and she can’t help but smile, and Mason is the same way. The thing I love most about them is that they have this incredible sense of humor. Just to give you a glimpse into their love story, I’ll share with you the cutest proposal ever. Mason proposed to Cheyenne by dressing up like a cowboy, getting down on one knee, opening his cowboy hat ring box, and asking her if she would be the “yee” to his “haw.” When Cheyenne shared this with me, I think I died inside from laughter. This story makes me grin so wide.
To both of you, may your marriage always be as fun as the way you got engaged, and may you always find the joy in even the hardest of situations. I hope you both love your wedding images and look back on your wedding day with joy. Cindy and I were honored to witness your marriage.
