I cannot wait to share this session with all of you! Cindy and I were glowing with excitement when we saw Alex and David get out of their car. Seeing them get out of the car and walk over together made our hearts beat a little faster. Between their stunning outfits, the love in their eyes, and the perfect golden hour sunset, it was a dream to photograph them that night.

Downtown Bakersfield is one of my favorite places to shoot, but it isn’t chosen very often. This shoot definitely highlights what I love about downtown Bakersfield. The beautiful buildings make for a perfect background. Alex and David brought the energy and love, and downtown Bakersfield brought the scenery.

Alex and David are one of the most fun couples we’ve ever met or photographed. They smile endlessly and enjoy every moment of life together. They both have servant hearts, and they do everything in life with joy. It’s always electric to be around them. They have a way of making you feel excited for the rest of the day. One conversation with either Alex or David will leave you smiling the rest of the week. It’s even more fun to be around them when they are together though. The laughs they bring out of each other is infectious. What a blessing it is to know them. May we all laugh half as much and carry ourselves with as much grace as Alex and David Sellens.
