Imagine a sunset falling over a vineyard and an almond orchard during an intimate wedding reception. That was the setting for Faith and Justin’s dreamy wedding celebration in early April. Their ceremony was held at their home church complete with live musicians who performed a piece Justin had composed for his bride (I know, right. Seriously romantic). Faith and Justin met at that church and quickly fell in love once they caught each others’ eye. Their first date lasted for five hours if I’m remembering correctly, and they’ve been inseparable since. They were swooning over each other during our first consultation–it was adorable. It’s always a joy getting to know my clients’ stories, but theirs was particularly sweet to listen to. The giggles in between sentences were oh so sweet.

At a friend’s property on the outskirts of Bakersfield, the wedding festivities continued into the sunset. From yard games, to smores over a fire, guests were laughing and chatting the night away. I loved the way they had their seating set up. Instead of individual tables, they chose one long continuous table for all the guests. It made it feel like you were part of their family during the reception. The scenery was gorgeous, and once that sunset started falling, I snuck Faith and Justin into the vineyard for their husband and wife photos. This is always my favorite time of the day. I’m still swooning over those images.

Faith and Justin, congratulations! You are a stunning couple, and it’s a joy to see you together. It was a pleasure to be able to share in your joy on your wedding day. May this be the start of a joyful and strong marriage.
