Ahhhh! Mariah is so near and dear to me, so where does one begin a blog like this? Mariah was my roommate for almost a year. When I was looking to fill a vacant room in my house, I wondered who in the world would want to live with a single mom and her one year old, and if I could find such a woman, would I actually like them? God really answered my prayers with Mariah. She doted and loved on me and my son every day, and she went out of her way to encourage my mothering and walk with Christ often. I witnessed her understanding, patience, compassion, and hunger for God’s word firsthand. We would go many nights without speaking, then out of the blue stay up until the next day talking theology and life. She’s the kind of dependable woman any godly man would pray to find–and Kyle did!
Because Kyle and Mariah were dating, he was over at our house quite a bit. If you thought Mariah loves my son from what I said a bit ago, just know that I think Kyle might love him more (sorry Mariah, “Mr. Kyoh” is special to Jensen). Kyle never hesitates to help me and play with Jensen. From filling up my car with gas and cleaning it, to organizing my garage, Kyle and Mariah, together, have served me so much. I don’t know what I did to deserve friends like them.
I’m sure you can tell already, but I adore both Mariah and Kyle. Individually, they have taken the time to grow and further their knowledge of Jesus to better love the other. Together, they seek to serve the people around them and share their love of Christ. They are just fun people that love each other a whole lot, and it’s a joy to be around them. I know the Lord is going to use their marriage in such amazing ways. Boy am I glad God had Mariah stumble into my life. What a joy the Guillorys are to this world!
To Kyle and Mariah, I love you both, and I am so thankful I got to be a part of your love story.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Beautiful couple and wedding. Great shots Sarah!
