One of my favorite parts of this job is the variety of things I get to shoot. When Maggie reached out to me to ask if I could take photos of her daughter playing piano, I got so excited! If you know me, you know my dad owns a music store, and I’ve grown up around plenty of music. I adore music–it’s a huge part of my life. So this shoot was the perfect fit and a creativity DREAM!

Maggie’s daughter is newer to the piano scene, but she plays with so much joy! She made taking these photos so easy because of her love of piano. It was really sweet to see! Piano is one of those instruments that sets the foundation for others, and personally, it’s my favorite to listen to.

I hope these photos show the love and happiness that piano brings to the world and this family. It really was such a joy to take these! What a special shoot.
