There’s nothing more fun than getting a message asking if I have last minute availability for a session that ends up working out perfectly. I don’t photograph in downtown Bakersfield that often in the winter, so this shoot ended up being *extra* fun in that regard.
My friend, Cindy, ended up asking if I had time to take some senior photos of her daughter, and I was so glad I had time in my schedule for this shoot. Jaelle was too much fun making the session incredibly smooth. Cindy is a dear friend from church, and her whole family has been such a light in my life. Each one of them is kind, talented, loving, intelligent, and unique in so many ways–they’re just the coolest family to know, trust me. Jaelle brought her bass guitar and her favorite book to our session which added to the personality of the downtown scenery. We laughed and had a blast during the shoot, and the pictures are so beautiful! (I mean, how could they not be when Jaelle is so darn cute?)
Jaelle, I hope you love these images as much as I do and see the truly beautiful, smart, godly, spunky, and mature young woman that you are. It’s been a joy to get to know you!
