Oh, boy, am I excited to share this blog post with you! These bridal portraits have the dreamiest, most romantic feel to them, and I am in LOVE with the way they came out. It was hard not to oo and ah the whole session while I was clicking away. Every shot felt like magic, and when I got home, I died of excitement all over again.

In case you’re unfamiliar with what bridals are, I wanted to take a moment to talk about them. Did you know that when you book your wedding you can book a special day and time with your wedding venue before your wedding day to take bridal portraits? Usually this will be a month or two before your wedding day, and you would schedule it the same day you do your makeup and hair trials. You can use this time to get into your dress, shoes, accessories, and everything you’re dreaming for your wedding day to get individual portraits of just you. On your wedding day, there won’t be as much time as you would want to get photos of you all done up in your wedding attire. You’ll absolutely get some individual photos on your wedding day, but you wouldn’t get a whole gallery worth of photos. Trust me, the way you look for your wedding day is something you’ll want to document more than a few photos.

Bridal sessions are so fun and special because you have private time with the venue to get the bridal portraits of your dreams! You also will get these photos before your wedding day. This means you can surprise your husband with a photo album or prints from your bridal portraits! It’s an amazing gift to give on your big day.
