Luxe Kern County Museum Wedding | Marissa + Mason

Weddings, Engagements, + Proposals

Glitz and glamour have nothing on Marissa and Mason’s luxury Kern County Museum wedding. From the Badgley Mischka heels (my fav!) to the sparkler exit, they had every detail perfectly in place. It really is the details that make a wedding special. On April 23rd, I got to witness vows being said, kisses being shared, and so much more. Marissa and Mason are the most fun couple. They are beyond generous with their laughs and smiles. I was honored to witness not only their marriage, but the coming together of their families.

The grounds of the Kern County Museum are absolutely magical. The architecture of the buildings add charm that is distinctly its own. For a luxury wedding, it’s perfect. The reception held a mix of pure white linens, wood tables, low and tall floral arrangements, string lights, and a neon sign behind the happy couple’s table. The florals had to be my favorite part of the reception decor. A mix of blush and white flowers in abundance just felt like a wedding straight out of a movie!

Marissa swapped a first look with her husband to be for a first look with her father. To say that was an emotional moment is definitely an understatement. What a beautiful thing it is to have a relationship with your father the way she does with her dad. When it was time for Mason to see Marissa, however, THAT was even more magical. As she graced down the aisle with her dad, Mason’s eyes were solely focused on his bride. In awe of her beauty, his hands went to his face. They both were so excited to be married finally–so you can bet that first kiss had sparks flying. The magic didn’t stop there. Tears were flying during every speech, and the best man was cracking jokes with the crowd. They partied the night away in a joyous celebration during their reception, and all their guests lined up for a sparkler exit to end the evening. It was such a fun night. A night of luxury, magic, love, and sweet memories. Definitely a night to remember.

Marissa and Mason, enjoy your wedding gallery previews! I can’t wait to get the rest of the images ready for you to cherish forever. Love you both. It was a pleasure to photograph your wedding and meet you.
