Engagement sessions are always so sweet to photograph, but they’re extra sweet when they’re friends of your family. Faith and Justin met at church (the same church my parents and one of my brothers go to!), and after their first date, they quickly fell in love. They told me their first date lasted for hours at a local coffee shop because they were so comfortable with each other. When you’re with them, you know they fit so well together. Their joy is contagious, and I had the best time taking these photos.

We started our session at Hart Park. Normally at this time of year, it isn’t green and floral, so it was a huge surprise when I showed up and saw the mountainsides covered in small yellow flowers. The weather was just perfect, and we stopped by the bluffs at the end of our session to catch the sunset. What. A. Dream.
