My sweet friend Laurie is engaged! This has been such a sweet season of life seeing the Lord work. I have never heard a man gush over his bride the way Jacob gushes about Laurie. I can’t even tell you all how wonderful it has been getting to know him. Laurie is a gem of a human, an encouraging friend, and a beautiful and fun presence. She has a way of navigating life’s ups and downs with grace and confidence. Jacob describes her as “gold,” and that couldn’t be more accurate.

Getting to take their photos was so fun because it let me see them as a couple outside of our more reserved church circles. Seeing them be romantic and playful with one another was a joy! I adore both of them, and their wedding will be one for the books for sure.
